Christian L. Tom is currently CEO and co-founder of AND Media, a new media venture building a values-aligned, digital creator-led studio system.

Christian has been at the center of digital media’s evolution, working across the business, academic, and political aspects of the digital media landscape.

He was a 2025 Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.

Christian was most recently a member of the Biden White House senior staff, where he served as Assistant to the President and Director of Digital Strategy. In this role, he led the administration’s approach to reaching people across a rapidly changing digital and media landscape. Prior to the White House, Christian led the first-of-its-kind Digital Partnerships team on President Biden’s 2020 campaign, and led digital for the Biden-Harris Inauguration.

Previously, Christian held leadership roles across some of the most influential platforms and media companies of the modern era, from helping build nascent monetization efforts at YouTube and working in the early days of Twitter’s New York office, to serving as Publisher at NowThis and The Dodo.

Across his career, Christian has been translating between worlds that are now converging: campaigns, government, media, technology, platforms, and creators. Christian has helped leaders, brands and institutions understand how influence actually moves in the digital age.

Christian holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Stanford University. He also was the Head of Americas for the McCourt Institute and was in the inaugural class at Singularity University.
